Brightdancing at TreeHouse!

TalkTalk, TreeHouse's charity partner and sponsor of the X Factor, hosted an afternoon of 'brightdancing' – drawing illustrations with light – took place at The Pears National Centre for Autism Education in North London, which was recently opened by Rt. Hon Ed Balls MP, Secretary of State for the Department of Children Schools and Families.  Pupils of different ages from TreeHouse School took part in the activity and were given the opportunity to see how it all works.  One pupil and TreeHouse’s E-Learning Co-ordinator, Tom DuCroz created a ‘brightdance’ together and their clip (shown here) has been selected to be on the ad breaks of this weekend’s X Factor show.

Hannah Barham, TreeHouse's Senior Fundraiser (Corporate and Events) said: "All of the pupils really enjoyed learning how to 'brightdance' – some were very confident whilst others were just curious at first and wanted to experiment with the lights and the images that they create.  The children all chose music to 'brightdance' to: rock music seemed to generate the best artistic output!  Very appropriate since this week is 'Rock Week' on the X Factor…"
