We were delighted when Sally Bercow joined us on Monday the 9th May 2011 for a live online Q & A Event.
Sally and her husband, John Bercow, Speaker of the House of Commons, are parent patrons of Ambitious about Autism. Their eldest son is on the autism spectrum and Sally has previously written articles for The Guardian about autism diagnosis.
Sally Bercow is a writer and commentator and an active member of the Labour party. She regularly reviews the news of the day for Sky News and ITV’s This Morning. Sally has also appeared on Have I Got News For You, BBC Question Time, and BBC This Week.
She is in currently in the midst of writing her first novel, which she hopes will be published in 2012. Sally was accepted onto the Labour Party’s Panel of approved parliamentary candidates in December 2009 and hopes to fight a parliamentary seat at the next General Election.
