Hello there, Keys for Learning Team! Your service sounds great. Can you tell us a little more about yourself, and perhaps contribute some of your expertise in our discussions?
Our Community Guidelines show that we prefer that you get to know us before you advertise in our community, but it's easy to see that you're a good match for a place like this so we'd love for you to stay and chat with us a bit!
Hope to see you around. : )

Hi Elena!
No problem, we'll take a look at the various discussion boards and see what we can contribute!
A bit more about us...well, we are a team of 3 girls who have worked together as ABA therapists over the last few years. We have finally taken the plunge to set up Keys for Learning to provide our own programmes to families within the UK. We want to help as many children as possible so we try to make sure our rates are accessible and our hands on approach to working with families ensures good practice and quality training. Additionally, we want to teach other professionals about ABA and reduce some of the stigma that unfortunately seems to be attached to it here in Scotland. Quite a mission statement!
Hopefully we can form links with other professionals through your forum, look forward to chatting to everyone on the site!

Wow, what a great story! You must be very busy, and very happy to be a team working together to help children.
Are you also parents of children with autism, if you don't mind me asking? The reason I do is because I know that the idea of TreeHouse originally came from some like-minded parents, so I could sort of see a parallel there if so...
We've got a few therapists / teachers / professionals around here, hopefully they'll pop in and say hello!

Yes it's great to work as a team, not only for the support but to be able to share our experiences and areas of expertise!
None of us have children...yet! We all kind of fell into this field and share the same passion about helping children through the use of ABA principles.
I'm about to have a look at a few discussions, see what we can add :0)
Gemma

At 'Keys for Learning' we specialise in working with children experiencing behavioural difficulties, autism and other developmental delays. Ultimately our aim is to unlock your child’s potential through designing individually tailored programmes to target your child’s greatest needs.
We use a range of techniques, underpinned by the evidence-based principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), to teach skills that are underdeveloped. Target areas include communication, play skills, social skills, adaptive living skills and school skills.
We are an enthusiastic, dedicated team of professionals located in central Scotland. Collectively, we have over 19 years experience working with children across a variety of settings and 9 years specifically on ABA programmes (within the UK and Australia). By working as a team, sharing knowledge and ideas, your child’s programme will benefit from our collective expertise.
