Hi,
On this page: http://www.treehouse.org.uk/tell-autism/autism-uk you report a figure of 80% for autism parents splitting up. This figure is not supported by a citation and in fact I very much doubt its true. In fact, its a figure reported in many places on the web and yet seems to have no basis in fact. I really think it out to be removed until a supporting cite can be found - and not just another website that says it, but a survey that reports it as a finding.

Hi Paula,
Just a thought, the capatcha question for testing if your a human visitor, is it possible to withdraw this for members of the forum?
If you've spent ages typing something out and then get the question wrong does it take you back to a blank page where you have to start all over again? I can just see this becoming a pain and maybe putting people off posting on the forum if you have to do this for every post?

Hi both, yes a few people have mentioned this - even I am finding it annoying! We will be removing it as soon as we can. It should only be on the first time you register, so soon will be removed from anywhere on the forum.
I hope you can bear with us until we get it removed. : )

Captcha (the numbers and letters you have to enter to authorise) should now not appear when you post comments or topics. Please let me know if you have any more problems.
Thank you for your patience with this!

Hello
Should we be able to access the 'talk about autism' forum from the home page? The link does not work so I had to go to 'How can we help' and then scroll down to find the 'talk about autism' link.

1- Sometimes I find that it has a link for Page 2 when in fact there's nothing in page 2...
2- Not that it matters where some of my posts end up, but I think pushing the reply button within a post and posting a new comment from the bottom of the page, basically puts you in different places in the thread. So even though some comments were made earlier than others, they appear at the bottom of the thread.. might be confusing.. at least for me :)

Hi Marcos, thanks for your comments. I think I have noticed point 1 also - so I'll flag it up to our technical team.
In regards to point 2 - Do you mean that comments are not always in chronological order? So sometimes new comments don't appear after older one? Could you give me a link to an example of this? Has anyone else experienced this?
If you give me a link I'll look into it asap.

I'm starting to wonder (as you mentionned the chronological order) if it would have to do with the actual time I post compared to the actual time it is in the UK..) but here's a link where I posted something yesterday before a lot of the post yet ended up last..

I dont know how everyone else feels about this but (just an idea) can some polls be set up...for instance on things like... how many kids are in mainstream or special schools.... how many just have autism and how many have other difficulties too.... It is just an idea... but it might help some parents know that they are not alone with certain issues??? I know what im trying to say but not sure if im coming across right so ill appologise if i am not :)

As you will probably be aware, we’ve invited you to join the forum as a founding member before the site goes live to the public in April. The reasons we’ve done this is so you can give us feedback and tell us what you like, what you don’t like and what we can do to improve your experience of the community.
Please use this section to give us your suggestions, start conversations about the forum and how it’s working and tell us if anything is going wrong. Please make yourself aware of the Community Guidelines – and we’d appreciate feedback on what you think of these also.
You can also use this section to ask us for help – if you’re not sure how to do something like posting threads or uploading a profile picture.
