Hi Anna
I took part in the Great South Run last year in aid of autism awareness, and I had an amazing time. You get such a great sense of achievement. I would love to know how to sponsor the Treehouse runners, as I'm not fit enought to run myself (and I promised myself I would never do it again!!!) - is there a link to a fundraising page you can post?
Good luck to everyone who's running
Nicky

Dear Nicky,
Thanks so much for your message. Congratulations on doing a 10K, I don't blame you not wanting to run again - I did 5K last year which was long enough, so I admire anyone who doubles that! It's brilliant that you would like to sponsor some of our runners - below is the link to Jane Cotton's page, she is a TreeHouse parent and running the 10K with three of her friends. This is really very generous of you.

If you would like to find out more about the fundraising that we do at TreeHouse, please do visit the Get Involved part of the site.
Thanks so much again!
Anna

The Asics British 10K is a well-established event with a route that takes in the best of London. 26,000 runners are taking part and the thousands of supporters who will be there on the day are guaranteed to spur you on to the finish line.
Whether you are new to running or a fitness enthusiast, by joining the TreeHouse team you can help us to raise the funds we desperately need to ensure more young people with autism receive an appropriate education. Education is the best chance of overcoming the serious communication and socialisation challenges that a child with autism can face, yet far too few children with autism have access to the right learning opportunities, delivered by trained staff.
We provide each of our runners with a supporter’s pack and t-shirt and we’ll be there on the day to offer moral support and make sure you have a day to remember. If you’re interested in taking part, please contact Caroline Brookes at cbrookes@treehouse.org.uk or on 020 8815 5135 for more information.
