I took part in this. I sent a questionnaire to them and also participated in an interview. I have been invited back for another interview next month but I'll be on holiday then.
I think the strategy will be very good but I am sceptical about whether it will address the needs of those with high functioning autism and AS.As an adult with AS, I have struggled to get any help or support and I don't see how this will change. I think the help will go to people who are already 'in the system', in some form of sheltered/supported accommodation, on benefits etc. I don't think anyone really sees me as a person who needs support or special adjustments and I think it will be the same for other semi-independent people with autism

More people are needed to take part in the research wrapped around the Autism Strategy. They are looking for adults with autism and parent/carers to take part and there are numerous ways to take part you can find more information if you follow the link.
