Hi Matt
Welcome to the boards. Just a suggestion, but could Mencap not source one for you from their supplier? I had a look about the internet but like yourself could only find American suppliers. The other place to try is maybe the National Autistic Society who might be able to source a supplier for you.
Hope this helps.

Hi Josie,
I have spoken to Mencap and they said that the supplier they used have gone bankrupt? I have also tried the national autism society and they don't seem to know?
Many Thanks
Matt

Hi
Have you tried 'Fledglings' ? they are a charity that specialises in finding and sourcing equipment for children with additional needs they may be able to help- www.fledglings.org.uk
If you can't get a Rhino trike how about a Tomcat or mission one? I don't know how big your son is but we had a "pashley trike" for our son (now sadly outgrown) they do make adult size ones as well though.
Happy hunting!

Thanks for the tip, Anthony!
I didn't find the Rhino Trike on the second hand cars link that you posted. But I did find it on the Mercantila website:

That's strange, I could have sworn that when I looked at the Mercantila site it was in GBP but there it is - USD, plan as day. :-(

Dear Matt,
I'm not sure that you can buy the Rhino Trike here in the UK - I have searched this afternoon and had absolutely no luck. I have now emailed the company in California directly to see if they know of any UK suppliers and will get back to you as soon as I have a response!
Thanks!

Hi Matt,
I don't know if this organisation does Rhino Trikes or not, but it is the organisation where we here at TreeHosue get trikes and bikes for the pupils at the school. They might be able to help you or recommend a trike that is similar to the Rhino Trike for your son.
Hope they're able to help - do get back in touch and let us know how you get on!
Anna

My son is autistic and he rides a Rhino trike at his local Mencap, My son is very over weight and we try and encourage him to keep active but this is an up hill struggle. He loves riding the Rhino pedal trikes when he goes to Mencap. I am trying to find a website in the U.K. were I can purchase one but I am finding it very difficult as so far I can only find companies in America. The Rhino trike that I am after is a pedal control one not a motor controlled one. Does anyone know of anywhere in the U.K.
