Hi Josie
There's some great advice there. I have pictures of my boy's classroom and the teaching staff, and have been talking to him about when he goes back. I've already spoken to his new teacher to let her know about his 'funny little ways'! She's also spoken to his previous teacher and got all his visual aids from her, so the school have done their bit, too.
Actually, he says that his favourite date is 7th September because that's when he gets to go to his new class, so I think all the preparation has been worth it (fingers crossed!!)

Nice one, Josie. I will share this on our Facebook and Twitter pages too.

Here's a link to an article in the Autism News which might be helpful in preparing our kids for the return to school after the Summer break.
