Elena (and anyone else attempting to access ncb through the above link).
There is something wrong with that link above. The message I got back when I eventually got out of the loop it took me into was that the ncb website is experiencing problems. It might be that it is not compatible with IE8 but I think that would be highly unlikely. I have had to reboot my computer to get out of it.
I am sure we have a dedicated EDCM thread anyway that you could use as an access port.

Hi Again
Yes, Robbie has put up a dedicated page for the EDCM campaign with a detailed explanation. You can find it here:

In a separate discussion, Linda Mccafferty said:
It was only a reminder Elena of the campaign........... i did notice
you already had it up , there is diffrent campaigns going on in the UK
as we are not all covered by the same one ie; here in Scotland . a lot
of people are getting great support/services in diffrent parts of the
country, here in Glasgow there is very little funding/resources
available to adults with ASD with learning difficulties as im finding
out at this very moment . i have only asked now for help/support for my
28yr old son through health reasons & have been shocked to find the
lack of funding/resources available here in Glasgow . i hope no-one
has to go through what i have went through trying to access
help/support............ when your children reach adulthood . i am
very passionate about causes when injustices are happening whether it
is children , disabled, elderly , and no funding/resources out there
for people like my son ,warrants me, to bring awareness to adult
carers of the challanges they have in front of them when they become
either to old or in ill health to keep up the caring & activities
they have been involved in for their son/daughter these cuts that are
happening are shameful & cause a lot of stress
................awareness & campaigning is the only route
mothers/fathers like myself can offer .
Linda, it took me a minute to figure out what your comment in the Community News discussion was regarding (lol!) but I figured it out and so that's why I've moved it over here - hope you don't mind and that I understood your comment correctly.
Thanks for explaining and sharing your thoughts about the campaign and local resources in Glasgow. Hopefully through your experience and work, you can help even just a few people in your area not to have to go through the situations you did! : )
One question for you. Since you mentioned a distinction in the campaigns, could you give us some information about the one in Scotland? Would be really helpful for us all. Thank you!
