Hi Rachel
Aw!!! That's lovely that Oliver was able to help his brother. Our kids are constantly surprising us and pushing their boundaries and it's really encouraging to see it.

That's very sweet of him! It must be such a nice feeling for parents when they see their child be empathatic and helpful toward others. Good for him! I bet Charlie appreciated it too.
This reminds me of something - I remember a friend of mine once told me how her little girl, maybe she was about 2-3 years old at that time, had started to notice with Mommy was upset or stressed, and how much it meant to her for her daughter of such a young age to understand someone else's feelings and give a hug.

Hi I have just witnessed somthing I thought I would never see My 7 year old autistic child helping his older A typical normal child to calm down after a fight with a friend. Charlie was in a real state he was wanting to fight with one of his friends who had wound him up. he was so angry we managed to get him in the house Oliver was on his playstation he turned around looked at charlie and said oh dear your red beast is out (its his favorite book) he fetched his stress ball and told him to squeeze hard and count to ten and then do it again till it he calmed down. he then looked at me and told me hes got a bit of autism. I just answered we all have some Oliver. So at least he knows how to calm down and get others to it was amazing.
