Hi everyone, as a parent of a 21yr old with aspergers, I wish you all well. I am specificaly looking for anyone with older children, ie left school, although I am happy to talk to anyone. It is good to see a chat room like this, I am sure it would have helped me during my daughters earlier years. Hope to hear from you, Rosemarie

Hi Rosemarie,

I think there are a few members with older kids with AS. I am mum to 3 children aged 4, 12 and 14 all with Aspergers/ASD and I would be really grateful for your insight and expierience...please feel free to join in with any of the discussions or to start your own and I look forward to chatting more :0)

Let us know if there's anything specific you're looking for, as we've got a number of resources tucked away here on this website and can help point you in the right direction.

Welcome to the group :)

I have three kids, all teenagers now, the youngest is 15 and was diagnosed with Aspergers about eight years ago. My oldest son who is almost 20 does not have a diagnosis as he doesnt want one, but exhibits many of the traits of Aspergers.

What particular issues do you want to discuss?

It might also be helpful for you to speak with Damian or Sara who are both adults on the spectrum. You can find them here:
